A Strategic Cooperation Agreement Was Signed Between CUG and Geology Bureau

Recently, Zhejiang Geological Exploration Bureau Lin Tianning and his delegation visited CUG and a strategic cooperation agreement was signed. Present the signing ceremony were Party Secretary Hao Xiang, President Wang Yanxin, Vice-president Wang Hua, academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences Jin Zhenmin, Zhejiang Geological Prospecting Bureau Secretary Lin Tianning and deputy director Yan Zongbao Wang Hua presided over the meeting.

Hao Xiang gave a speech. He said that despite the long distance between CUG and Geological Exploration Bureau, Zhejiang, they had a long cooperation history. Since 2007, a strategic cooperation framework was signed by joint efforts, which created CUG-Zhejiang Institute and made a number of important influence achievements on geological research collaborative innovation and technology. He hoped the two sides should take the signing as an opportunity to enhance the cooperation level, work together and create a new situation of school- office cooperation.

Lin Tianning and Wang Yanxin on behalf of the two sides signed a new five-year strategic cooperation agreement. According to the agreement, the university and the Geological Prospecting Bureau, Zhejiang Province, based on the principle of "strategic cooperation, common development, complementary advantages, resource sharing” strategic cooperation agreement had been made on four aspects.

Wang Yan pointed out that cooperation featured close relationship and important significance, and he also put forward three suggestions.
