CUG Won the Special Award of the Ministry of Education University Campus Culture Construction Excellent Achievement

Recently, the Ministry of Education issued the result of 7th University Campus Culture Construction Excellent Achievement selection, in which CUG achievement of “Construct Characteristic Sport Culture and Advance Health Development of CUG Students” won the special award.

Characteristic Sport Culture was one brand of CUG campus culture, in which CUG insisted the view of "broad Sport" to form a sport-culture framework by keeping the characteristic of climbing sport and combining outside sport activity, competitions and collective exercises of students. During the construction, CUG dig the deep cultural connotations of sport, make full use of sport’s cultivating function, train students’ healthy body and cultivate the figure of courage and persistence, so as to promote students’ healthy growth and comprehensively development.

Around the fundamental mission of cultivating talents, CUG pay high attention on campus culture construction and has done amount of work in the construction of Spirit Culture, Academic Culture, Internet Culture, and Sport Culture. Until now, CUG has won the prize in the successful six years.

It is said this section passed the strict assessment and publicity by the experts of the Ministry of Education, including ten special prize, 30 first prize and 107 excellent prize.
