CUG Welcomed 1st Batch of Students from Confucius Institute of Tornovo University Bulgaria for a Long-term Program Study
On February 25, CUG welcomed the first batch of 19students from Confucius Institute of Tornovo University Bulgaria, who had wonthe scholarship dedicated for Central and Eastern Europe. They would study alearning program of Chinese for one year and feel the culture of China.
Based on the teaching features, the College ofInternational Education of CUG had especially organized various forms ofcultural experience activities such as various special Chinese courses andlectures on Chinese culture, experience of Chinese Kungfu and a trip around thecity to enrich the course of Chinese learning.
The dedicated scholarship for Central and EasternEuropean credit earning students is provided by the Department of InternationalCooperation and Exchanges of the Ministry of Education to the in-schoolstudents of Central and Eastern Europe who have studied in China for six monthsor above. The winning of the scholarship will be helpful for expanding CUG'senrollment of international students and create a beneficial condition for thediversified development of international students education in CUG.
